    § Privacy commitment

    What your camera sees
    stays on your phone.

NaviLens is built to know as little about you as possible. Not who you are, not what's in front of your camera. There is nothing to set up: the app works this way from the moment you install it.

    § Seven facts

    Beyond the privacy policy.

A privacy policy says what a company may do with your data. This is what NaviLens doesn't do, because it isn't built to.

    1. 01

No image ever leaves your phone

The camera is used only to locate NaviLens codes. All image processing happens on your device: neither images nor frames are sent to NaviLens servers or to anyone else.

    2. 02

We look for the code, not for you

The computer-vision algorithm has one job: find and decode the marker. And since what you point at never leaves your phone, it can't be used to train models or analyze the scene.

    3. 03

      Reading happens on your device

Finding and reading a code needs no internet connection. Only downloading the associated content may require one the first time.

    4. 04

      No profiles, no advertising

We don't build user profiles or analyze anyone's individual behavior, and we don't use your data for advertising, our own or anyone else's.

    5. 05

Your email, only if you want

You don't need an email to use NaviLens. We only process it if you enter it yourself for a feature that needs it, and only for that feature.

    6. 06

      No sign-up, no account

You don't need to log in to use NaviLens. Download the app and it works.

    7. 07

We don't know who you are

We never ask for your name or phone number. The app identifies itself with a random installation identifier that says nothing about you.

§ The fine print, in large type

What we do record, and what we never use it for.

Keeping the service running takes a few technical data points. They are all in the privacy policy; here they are, plainly. All of this describes the NaviLens app. On this website, optional analytics and campaign-measurement cookies are only turned on if you accept them.

    What we record

    • That a code was read, which one, and when.
    • A random identifier for the app installation.
    • Phone make and model, OS and app version, and network carrier.
    • The language and display preferences you choose.
    • Your email, only if you enter it yourself for a feature that needs it.
    • Your IP address, only at the infrastructure layer and only for security: neither app administrators nor third parties can see it.

What we never do with it

    • Profile users or analyze individual behavior.
    • Personalized advertising, our own or anyone else's.
    • Identify a person or cross-reference their data with other sources.

The full detail, with legal basis, retention periods, and your rights, is in the privacy policy.

Your privacy truly matters to us. And NaviLens is built to protect it.
