Müller Yogurt & Desserts × NaviLens

Müller is the UK's number-one dairy brand (Kantar), maker of Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Rice and Müller Bliss among others. It produces yoghurts and desserts in Market Drayton (Shropshire) for virtually every UK supermarket.

On 11 July 2024, Müller Yogurt & Desserts officially announced the rollout of NaviLens across its entire branded range. The Grocer, New Food Magazine, Food Manufacture, Dairy News Today and Packnode covered it as a sector milestone.

      Small, multi-format packs

Single pots, 4-packs, rice-pudding cartons, chilled desserts… Müller's range mixes tiny packs with lots of information (variety, ingredients, allergens, BBE, nutrition).

    • 02

      Near-identical variants

Müller Corner ships in dozens of flavours in nearly identical packs: vanilla with chocolate balls, red berries, coffee… Telling them apart without sight relies on memory or another person.

    • 03

      Routine chilled-aisle shopping

Shoppers grab yoghurt from the chilled aisle on autopilot. Without accessible codes, blind and partially sighted people lose that everyday autonomy.

Müller prints the NaviLens code directly on the top of every branded product. NaviLens and NaviLens GO apps detect it from several metres without aiming, reading out brand, variety, ingredients, allergens and instructions in the user's language.

The integration is part of Müller Yogurt & Desserts' wider brand refresh, redesigning typography, colour and pack architecture across the UK range with accessibility as a core pillar.

“We want every shopper — including blind and partially sighted consumers — to enjoy the same experience with our brands. NaviLens helps us close that gap pack by pack.”
