      Request the kit from the app

      From the NaviLens side menu you can request the codes for personal use.

    2. 02

      Download and print

      Receive the kit, print the codes and place them on the items you want to identify.

    3. 03

      Add a private note

      Scan each code from the app and write or record the information you want to link to the item.

    4. 04

      Find what you're looking for

      When you detect the code again, NaviLens will read your note out loud to help you recognise the item.

    The notes you add to your codes are private. Only you can access that information from your NaviLens account.

    § Important note

    You don't create new codes: you personalise an existing kit.

    Personal codes are part of a predefined kit. What changes is the private note each person adds from their app. That is why they are not meant for public signage, visitor information or professional deployments.

    • Can I create brand-new NaviLens codes for personal use?
      No. Personal codes are part of a predefined kit requested from the app. You can print them and link a private note to each one.
    • Who can read the information I add?
      By default, only you can access your personal notes from your NaviLens account.
    • What is NaviLens for Family?
      It is a feature that lets you share your personal notes with family or people you trust so they can also recognise the same labelled belongings.
    • With how many people can I share my notes?
      You can share them with up to 5 trusted people through NaviLens for Family.
    • Can I use these codes to signpost a school, a clinic or an office?
      That is not their intended use. Personal codes are designed for private notes. For shared spaces use the NaviLens free kit for spaces.
    • Do I need a special printer?
      No. You can print the codes on a home or office printer, as long as you respect the size and margins indicated in the kit.
