Farmacia Sirera, run by Esteban Suárez, is a León pharmacy with five generations of history, open 24 hours, 365 days a year, across from Plaza de Guzmán. In 2021 it opened “the pharmacy of the future”, a new 300 m² branch with a dispensing robot, touchscreens and a digital shopping experience.

The project adds an accessible signage layer with NaviLens at the storefront, integrated with Sirera’s graphic language and the shared NaviLens GO seal.

    § The challenge

So that anyone can find the pharmacy.

    1. 01

      A 24/7 pharmacy on León’s busiest street

Sirera operates 365 days a year on León’s busiest commercial corridor. Finding the entrance and getting your bearings must be immediate for seniors, low-vision shoppers and visitors who don’t read Spanish.

    2. 02

A digital experience — also for those who can’t see the screen

Sirera is a Spanish pioneer in pharmacy automation. What was missing was an accessible smart-signage layer that could speak to those who can’t read a poster.

    3. 03

A brand that cares for the whole family’s health

The sign had to fit Sirera’s graphic language (coral red, custom typography) without breaking brand consistency, and be readable from the street through the glass.

    § The solution

    One code on the door.

On the storefront wall, next to the glass door, a “sirera farmacia · NaviLens GO APP — The new smart digital signage for all” sign with the NaviLens code.

Travellers, neighbours and tourists hear the pharmacy’s name, its 24h hours, the services available and welcome messages — in Spanish, English and 40 more languages — without downloading anything extra and without aiming the camera at the code.

    § Timeline

From the pharmacy of the future to smart signage.

      “Pharmacy of the future” opens

Sirera opens at Av. Ordoño II 39 a new 300 m²+ branch with a dispensing robot and touchscreens.

    2. 14 Dec 2021

      Mayor’s visit and institutional recognition

León’s mayor José Antonio Diez visits the new premises and highlights Sirera as an example of new-technology adoption.
