Fortuna
Town Hall
Fortuna town hall, together with the Regional Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Murcia, drives the Goddess Fortuna Immersive Heritage Trail: an itinerary that digitally connects the town's main cultural landmarks.
The project, presented in September 2025 by mayor Cati Herrero alongside director general Eva Reverte, received a regional grant of €18,852 within the regional tourism modernisation call.
On the ground it takes shape as consistent totems: a heritage caption, photographs, a NaviLens code scannable from a distance and an ARASAAC plaque with the site's pictogram.
§ The challenge
Make the town's heritage audible and understandable too.
- 01
Heritage scattered across the old town
City Hall, the Church of the Immaculate Conception, San Roque Hermitage and the Los Baños wash-house form a rich but scattered ensemble. Without a common thread, locals and visitors lost the narrative of the “Goddess Fortuna Trail”.
- 02
Dense signage, single-language and silent
Traditional panels mixed history, architecture and devotion in dense Spanish text. The result excluded people with low vision, reading difficulties or international visitors who don't read Spanish.
- 03
Real cognitive and sensory accessibility
Fortuna town hall and the Regional Department wanted a project combining multilingual voice (NaviLens) with ARASAAC pictograms, so the trail would also be accessible to people with cognitive disabilities or ASD.

§ The solution
A dual totem: voice with NaviLens, pictogram with ARASAAC.
Every site on the Goddess Fortuna Trail gets a heritage totem with the place's caption, detail photographs and a NaviLens code that can be scanned from a distance, without focusing and while moving, using the free NaviLens GO app.
Next to the totem an ARASAAC plaque carries the pictogram of the site (town hall, church, hermitage, wash-house…) to reinforce cognitive accessibility and easy reading.
The same support serves people with low vision, blindness, cognitive disabilities or ASD, residents and international tourists, who receive the content in the language set on their phone.
§ The rollout
Four landmarks across Fortuna's old town.

§ Timeline
From the regional grant to an accessible old town.
